Tirzepatide can cause thyroid -c cell tumours
Tirzepatide should be combined with diet and exercise plan
it should be taken only once a week
people with type-1 diabetes should not take tirzepatide

How to take :
- it is only take once a week
- it can be taken with or without food at any time of day
- it can be injected into the thigh, abdomen or upper arm
- you should rotate each injection site for each dose
Dosage
Weight loss
Starting dose: 2.5 mg injection under the skin once a week
After 4 Weeks: dosage should increase to 5mg injection once a week
Further Dose Increases: after 4 weeks on current dose it can be increased in 2.5 increments
Maintenance Dosage: 5mg,10mg,15mg once a week
Maximum Dosage: 15mg once a week
Type 2 Diabetes
Starting dose: 2.5 mg injection under the skin once a week
After 4 weeks: dosage should increase to 5mg injection once a week
If additional glycemic control needed : after 4 weeks on current dose it should be increased in 2.5 increments
Maximum dose: 15mg once a week
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember within 4 days after the missed dose.
if it has been more than 4 days since your last dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the dosing schedule
do not inject 2 doses within 3 days of each other
