Diazepam is used to treat anxiety, symptoms of alcohol and relieves muscle spasms.it works by calming the brain and the nerves
Don not take diazepam if you
.are allergic to benzodiazepine
.suffer from severe/long term liver problems,
. have severe breathing problems
.suffer from mental illness e.g. phobias/obsessions
.difficulty breathing when asleep
. disorder where muscles become weak and tired easily
Don’t take diazepam if you are pregnant
Take tablet with water or a drink
Please ask doctor before taking antidepressants and follow advice
When stopping this medicine you may experience withdrawal effects treatment could be gradually withdrawn
Please use correct dose of diazepam
Long term use is not recommended
Tell your doctor immediately if you feel severe side effects
Stop taking the medicine and talk to the doctor
Sleeping anxiety-10mg dose-once before you go to sleep
Other symptoms(both adults and children).dependant on symptoms doctor will decide
correct dose
